Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono had been asked to seek a solution to the conflict between the Manpower and Transmigration Ministry and the Indonesian Migrant Workers (TKI)Placement and Protection Agency (BNP2TKI).

The conflict has started to disrupt the TKI placement and protection, and unemployment eradication program, founder of the Association of TKI Recruitment Companies Malik Aliun and chairman of the Association of TKI Service Businesses Yunus M Yamani said in Jakarta on Sunday.

They said that only the President could seek a solution to conflict in handling TKIs, because it was the head of state who had dedicated the BNP2TKI.

Malik said the TKI placement program has not improved. The number of TKIs being placed has dropped, also their protection has become less effective. (*)
